Don't think there was a visitor book back then. Estimate it took from 10 am - 6:30 pm. Was challenging.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4952795013415598058.post-67050890404015333972011-08-01T08:57:47.933+09:302011-08-01T08:57:47.933+09:30You can always climb from the Mt Little Station si...You can always climb from the Mt Little Station side. The hike can be more direct, and also less steep, easily done in a day (drive along some tracks from the homestead.) The owners of Mt Little Station have quite good camp sites available near the homestead, and cottage accommodation.

Some hikers have since told me of an easier route from the Arkaba side. Proceed up either of the scree chutes close to the summit. We debated doing this, but we never got close enough to the bottom of the chute to see how it started. It's steep, but quick.Jezhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04321045130627996084noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4952795013415598058.post-40516883163678380532011-07-31T20:02:53.274+09:302011-07-31T20:02:53.274+09:30Great stuff I always wanted to climb Mt Aleck.
